About This Project

The Sky Bar is an eclectic mix of tropical chic. Upon entering, guest are greeted at the Moet & Chandon maitre’ d, where the design was very much inspired by the champagne bottle that focuses on the shape of the bottle as well as the texture of its signature gold foil wrapping at the counter backdrop.

Inside, the main bar acts as the centre piece highlight for Sky Bar. The inspiration for the bar is drawn from its branding by Belvedere Vodka. We wanted to create a chilled frosted look and what could be simpler than a block of ice! The hanging display acts as an “ice lantern” with colour changing lights to provide ambiance. The bar’s dramatic lighting effect exudes a vibrant and fresh mood to the otherwise subdued atmosphere of the overall space.

The tropical context of Kuala Lumpur is apparent with the usage of woven furniture and woven lamps. Woven metal screens are also used as cabanas divider, for a more semi – private setting.
