About This Project

Strategically located in the heart of the city, the Holiday Inn Express, KLCC takes its place in an iconic building designed by the distinguished architect Hijjas Kasturi. Situated in the centre of Bukit Bintang, KLCC and the Bukit Nanas forest reserve, the now fully developed area was once part of the Weld Hill Forest Reserve. The interior design revolves around the concept of The Last Garden – a subtle reminder of the rainforest that once covered Kuala Lumpur. Stepping into the hotel lobby, one immediately experiences the vibrant contemporary atmosphere inspired by nature. Heavily textured surfaces juxtaposed with clean, organic lines create a sense of casual curiosity. Light timber elements contrasted with intense blocks of colour provide a visually dynamic environment. Seamlessly connected spaces that flow into one another make up the reception and the Great Room, providing an open and engaging space integral to the Holiday Inn Express experience.
